Use this checklist to frame a 100 or 200 kW RF induction plasma project. Unknown values can be identified as questions for the engineering review.
01
Material identity
Provide the material name, major chemistry and any components that may affect heating, reaction or handling. Include the current feed condition and whether representative sample data is available.
Material and composition
Current powder condition
Moisture, oxygen or contamination concerns
02
Particle-size distribution
Send the current range and the target range, together with the measurement method when available. A single average value is rarely enough to define feeding and collection.
D10 / D50 / D90 or sieve range
Current shape and flow behavior
Oversize or fines limits
03
Target transformation
Describe the required result in measurable terms. For spheroidization, identify morphology, density, flowability or other acceptance criteria that matter to the downstream process.
Target morphology
Desired product properties
Available before-and-after evidence
04
Scale and atmosphere
State the preliminary feed rate or annual demand, the expected operating schedule and the gas or atmosphere constraints that should be reviewed.
Feed rate or throughput target
Carrier and plasma gas assumptions
Operating schedule and collection route
05
Plant boundary
Preliminary equipment selection also needs power, cooling, floor-space and interface information. Mark unavailable data as pending rather than guessing.
Incoming electrical supply
Cooling-water capacity and quality
Layout, ventilation and material handling
